Happy Easter 2008!

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday last week. Easton was very excited about hunting eggs and finding them. We had a trial run in the living room the night before. I would hide the eggs and he would find them. Then he decided he wanted to hide them and let me find them. We had a good time. Before we went to bed that night, he was hiding and then finding his own eggs. The next morning, Easton got a little Easter surprise from us. Our church had a big hunt for all the kids after Sunday morning service. He was so excited. When they said go, he started running as fast as he could. He would stop occasionally and pick up an egg, but then take off like lightning to find another one. The funny thing was that he would pass up 10 eggs to go for the "one" that he wanted. After it was over he poured all his eggs out and inspected them like any good little boy. He immediately wanted to hide them and hunt them again like we had done the night before. We did have a slight break down when he realized that he couldn't do it again and again. Little Lawson stayed inside the church with Nana because it was too cold and windy for him to watch big brother. After the hunt, we went to my Grandma Lawson's house for lunch. We ate a big meal and then Easton took his eggs back out in the yard to play. When we got home, Nana and Papa came over and gave the boys their Easter presents. It was a full day of fun, food, and too much candy. : ) Here are a few pictures from the big day.
Happy Easter!
